Try these Effective Natural Remedies to Remove Dark Circles

Dark circles are one of the common problems that we are facing these days. There are so many causes of dark circles such as stress, improper diet, lack of sleep, allergies, and much more. It looks sick and unhealthy. Most women use makeup products like concealers to hide their dark circles. But it is always good to go for natural ways to banish dark circles completely. So, here are some home remedies that can help you to combat your dark circles.

Potatoes 

Potatoes hold a rich source of vitamin A, vitamin C, starch, and enzymes, which helps to prevent dark circles. Besides this, due to its anti-inflammatory properties, it reduces swelling and puffiness under the eyes. Grate raw potatoes and extract its juice then dip cotton balls into it. Place these cotton balls over your eye. Make sure that the entire area of dark circles should cover-up. Then after 10 minutes, clean your eyes with cold water.

Tomatoes

Tomatoes are beneficial for skin, including dark circles. It also helps to makes our skin smooth and bright. Take one teaspoon tomato juice and one teaspoon of lemon juice in equal proportion and mix properly. Apply on the dark circles under eyes for 10 minutes, then wash it off with normal water.

Cold Tea Bags

Cold tea bags are another excellent home remedy for dark circles. Tea contains antioxidants that are beneficial for the complete body, including dark circles. Take green tea bags and dip them into the hot water, then keep it in the refrigerator to chill. Drain the excess water from the tea bags and place over your eyes. For best results, apply this regularly.

Almond Oil

Almond oil can help to lighten the dark circles and also reduces under-eye puffiness. At bed-time, apply almond oil to your dark circles and massage gently and wash it off in the morning. Besides this, you can also use coconut oil under your eyes that works great.

Cold Milk

Chilled milk also helps in eliminating dark circles. It contains lactic acid that makes milk an efficient and affordable solution. Soak cotton balls in cold milk and place them under your eyes, covering your dark circles. 

Orange juice

Orange juice can do wonders for removing dark circles. Squeeze out some orange juice and add few drops of glycerin to it. Apply this mixture over your dark circles, then sit for some time then wash it off. 

Cucumber

It is a known fact that cucumber slice is good for eyes. It is another effective home remedy for dark circles. Take some cucumber slices and keep them into the refrigerator for half an hour. Then take out and let them rest over your eyes and wait for 10 minutes then wash. Regular use of this can give the best results.
